An Honest Question

by cielopop

One’s persona is composed of appearance, outward behavior, and declarations of beliefs (direct or implied).

How often is this a fragile illusion? Is it in any way reflective of the truth in the soul’s shadows?

What if one was never trained to dig into his heart? What if we were taught to give more value to external phenomena, and other people’s personas… Aren’t we colluding with illusions?

And we wonder why we never attain peace.

This is the state of the world, isn’t it?
